Nakkas was established as a shipping and chartering agency in 1860 / Mersin
1987
Gabi nakkas and sedat basak became partners and the company was re-structured.
1999
Nakkas started its ship management journey with three handy-size dry cargo vessels, which were purchased sequentially in 1999,2000,2001.
2002
The headquarters moved to Istanbul to focus more on the management aspect of the company-owned vessels.
2003
Between the years 2003 and 2005, Nakkas built two chemical tankers and one container ship at rented shipyard spaces with a self-composed team.
2005
Soli Shipyard founded.
2018
Nakkas became an incorporated company.
2022
Currently taking an active role in managing 4 chemical tankers while another new building is on the slipway.
2024
Four stainles steel vessels with stainless steel tanks are under construction.
